2010 – Here We Come

So here we are – 2010…

Spent the last few weeks with Joey and we always talk on a gazillion things all at once – literally all at once. But one of the topics that we spent the most time on was our 2009 season. What a bittersweet year…. We had the awesome opportunity to compete in one of the best pro drifting series out there – Drift Mania Canadian Championships (DMCC). Although we were only able to attend 3 out of the 5 events, we finished 15 overall, met tons of amazing people, and made several new friends. We also attended a few of the Clubloose events held by our good friend Matt Petty and attended several car shows with our partners RIX Magazine. We had a great year in racing; unfortunately, back at home, our year had a different tone. I lost someone who was very special and dear to me who was also a very important team member. Joey also had his challenges on the personal side throughout the year. Nonetheless, we did the best we could with the small amount of sanity we had left. Although it was not our best season, we reflect back and realize how privileged we were to have the “bigger than life” environment and smiles that the people of our sport brings. It was you who helped us stay together and motivated us to continue marching forward. Thank you to all our sponsors; Cooper Tires, Selex Suspension, Rix Magazine, STUCK-UP Sticker Company, Sarona Body Kits, Damiyo Boutique, SPL Parts, Supertech Pistons, and many many thanks to our friends and family who helped us stay motivated and determined to finish the year strong.

So here we are – 2010. Joey and I are extremely excited and with the right mindset to make 2010 our best year yet. With the help and continued support from our current sponsors and a few new sponsors we’re developing communications with, we’re motivated and excited to get things rolling again.
